Dead of Winter

Dead of Winter - Kresley Cole Aric Domīnija you have stolen my heart!

So first thing first - I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! So many emotions at the end of the book!

why would you do this to me Kresley?!?!?!?!

OK so Spoiler alert*********

who in their right mind would choose JACK!!! OF ALL PEOPLE!!! ok so I'm a little emotional right now. Dont get me wrong I loved Jack in the first book but I mean soon as death aka Aric came in the picture how could you say no to him!!

all that aside - I loved this book. Mixed emotions about how it didnt end with this one. However looking back on it I'm glad I get to read more of this amazing story, I just don't want to wait for it!!

I still think Jack is the dormant card and am still holding onto the hope that she ends up with Aric.

Overall I gave this 5 stars - I read it in less than a day and couldn't put it down. Fantastic book. Kresley Cole has done it again!!

Endless Knight

Endless Knight - Kresley Cole YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES!!!!!

If she doesn't want Aric I will happily take him off her hands!!! This is definitely one for the book boyfriend pile!!

love love loved this book! I was so upset when I finished this, knowing I have to wait sooo long for the next one!

Loved everything about the book. The twist that happened with Jack was fantastic. I am praying to the book gods that Evie ends up with Aric (or in other words the Empress with Death). Not sure if I was the only one that thought Evie and Jack's relationship was odd? It will be interesting to find out what happens with their relationship in the third book. I'm hoping Jack turns out to be a minor Arcana card.

This book caught me completely by surprise with how good it is and I love it! Safe to say I will probably be reading this one again!

White Horse: A Novel

White Horse: A Novel - Alex Adams I will admit at first this book took me a long time to read. But once I hit the 1/2 to 3/4 mark I couldn't put this book down!

"What will you do if he is dead?" I think about the possibility, although it leaves me so empty each breathe is a knife wound. "Mourn him forever."

Going from YA to AF was a massive jump for me and it paid off.

I couldn't stand the Swiss and found myself yelling at the book "JUST KILL HIM ALREADY!!!"

Needless to say this book almost had me in tears at the end with the last argument between Zoe and the Swiss.

I enjoyed this book - worth the read.

Fire

Fire - Kristin Cashore Love, love, loved this book! I enjoyed this book much more than Graceling. I loved the main character, fire, and don't even get me started on my new book boyfriend Brigan!

I wasn't so much sold on Graceling and went into Fire with low expectations. Yet somehow from nowhere this book just grabbed me! I was all of a sudden falling in love with the characters (yes even in a weird way Leck!)and finding myself not wanting to put it down! The way she brought Leck into this book tied Graceling and Fire together really well. In my opinion she pretty much nailed Leck's childhood, so creepy and disturbed.

I loved the relationship of Fire and Brigan. I am positively in love with Brigan. So masculine, gentle, romantic and supportive at the same time. (Just quietly I think I have found my future husband.)

“Brigan was saying her name, and he was sending her a feeling. It was courage and strength, and something else too, as if he were standing with her, as if he'd taken her within himself, letting her rest her entire body for a moment on his backbone, her mind in his mind, her heart in the fire of his.
The fire of Brigan's heart was astounding. Fire understood, and almost could not believe, that the feeling he was sending her was love.”

This book definitely left me wanting more...

Undead and Unreturnable

Undead and Unreturnable - MaryJanice Davidson I am rating this book 2.5 stars.

I liked this book - was a good time killer. At times funny and all over enjoyable.

Undead and Unemployed

Undead and Unemployed - MaryJanice Davidson This book was pretty much just ok. It was something to kill time really. I enjoyed it however felt myself getting more and more annoyed about the amount of sarcasm Betsy has. It was refreshing and funny in the first book but in this one it has increased ten fold. Just hurry up and get with Sinclair already!!! I would happily take him off her hands if she doesn't want him :)
SPOILER ALERT!

Graceling

Graceling - Kristin Cashore First off, I really enjoyed this book. It was one of those books that I couldn't put down.

The only thing that I found myself annoyed at was when it went on and on with Katsa deciding what she wanted with Po. After he told her that she could have him any way that she wanted, I felt she was just repeating herself over and over.

I also understand that this is a YA book however I felt that the first time Po and Katsa decided to be together, there could have been a little more info on it, it seems they were so in love with each other it was odd for her to practically skim straight through the scene.

Other than those two minor frustrations of my own. I love that Katsa has this inner struggle with herself on trying to control her emotions.

I have and would recommend this book. It's nice to see a strong main female character. I have just ordered the next two in the series and cant wait to jump straight into them!

The Men's Guide to the Women's Bathroom

The Men's Guide to the Women's Bathroom - Jo Barrett I was debating with myself on whether to give this book 2 or 3 stars. It was a good easy read, funny at times, however didn't really keep my interest too much.

Undead and Unwed

Undead and Unwed - MaryJanice Davidson I enjoyed this book! Was super easy to read. It was funny in parts and I loved the main character. Recommend this if you just want an easy and chilled read.

Breathe

Breathe - Abbi Glines I gave breathe 4 stars because it was such an easy and enjoyable read!! it has everything you want in a girly teen book. loved it. loved Jax!

Flowers in the Attic

Flowers in the Attic - V.C. Andrews loved it! so twisted and dark. makes you think twice. although I can't hate the mother enough

Weekend in Paris

Weekend in Paris - Robyn Sisman dissapointed... I found the main character to be hopeless and a bit pathetic. I love a good girly book but this one made me want to shake the girl and tell her to wake up to herself.

Mockingjay

Mockingjay - Suzanne Collins loved it! the last 100 pages or so were non stop. even the last 10 pages! loves the way she keeps true to the book at the end and wraps everything up. there were a few suprises along the way. brilliant book would recommend the series

Catching Fire

Catching Fire - Suzanne Collins loved it! can't wait to read the next one!! the more I read it the more I love peeta. defiantly recommend this series.
